Mr. Lakshmanji, the lyrics as heard from the song sung by Sri. Somu has few changes. I give below the lyrics, as heard from his song. This composition seems to be of Sri. Somu's own creation.

In the charanam, lyrics sounds like this; nI, ADi +mayil +inil meaning, you on the dancing peacock.

Hari- Lakhsman is right in the following-
"ninaitta pOdu nI en mun vara ven(d)um" This sentence only fits in the flow of the song. I have a LP of Madurai Somu. It is very clear.
2) "Adu Mayilil" is correct. when one uses "Ni adi mayil" means "dancing murugan" when one uses "Ni adu mayilil" means murugan in dancing peacock"
3) Urugippadinen or urugippadida- both are correct. Since it is his composition, he sings in both.
4) He also uses "vadivela" in the place of "murugayya"

His passionate singing about his guru in "Ezhumalai vAsanukkum..." is a gem.
Besides being an excellent concert in content as well as singing, some of Somu's own creations at the end of the concert are sparkiling.
KaNNadAsan's "marudamalai mAmaNiye..." is superb too.

In hearing Madurai Somu emote the raagas with such an extraordinary 'Bhakti', one is immediately drawn into wondering how the love of a Thyagaraja or Purundara Dasa might have been in their divine bursts when the Lord came calling. From the stories we have heard, Vidwan Somu seemed to react the same way at the very mention of Lord Raama; so sensitive and pure of the heart was he.

This whole concert is a gem and no one should miss it!
