The first time I am listening to her live, was a very enjoyable concert. Started with a relatively rare natakurinji ata tala varnam. Her janani rendition was really good, at the right pace. She sang the sahityam for the chittaswaram after the anupallavi as well as the charanam. Her singing of the phrase NSGGMGGM in the chittaswaram was beautiful with an additional gamakam to the madhyamam in the end. The chakravaham piece was briskly rendered. Kalyani was dealt with quite elaborately, the swaras had some typical semmangudi phrasings (N..S, DN..S, PDN..S). Mohanam seemed a bit lackluster, a couple of reasons, her voice seemed a bit tired (her vocal support could have helped out better) and the krithi choice was not the best (in my opinion). Her chetasri rendition was something else! Completely unhurried rendition of the majestic dikshitar krithi in which the beauty of dvijavanti really came out. swathi's tirunal's lovely kurinji padam (used to be sung by sri KVN) was also well rendered. She was very well supported by Charulatha Ramanujam on the violin and Manoj Siva on the mridangam and D.V.Venkatasubramiam on the ghatam.
