8. Swara Raga Sudha - Shankarabharanam followed by Thani
9. RTP - Keeravani "Kanaka Sabesanai Darishaname Kandaala Kali Theerumme" Ragamalika swarams in Bhoopalam and 2 other ragas
10. Virutham
I walked in during the thani. Good quick thani played by the maestro followed by a fantastic alapanai in Keeravani. Thanam and Pallavi were good. Virutham was good. What really stood out to me, was Neyveli's absolute classy presence on stage. This was his first concert I have attended.
I also attended Sowmya, TMK and Carnatica Brothers concert. I will review Sowmya and TMK's concerts separately. Sowmya did a good job, singing Kalgada, Manirangu and Todi impressively. TMK with Trichy Sankaran, that was an "event of the year" thinger. Need more time to write my thoughts on it.
Carnatica brothers were less than average, and they seemed very pleased with the manner in which the concert came off. As for the audience, a couple folks among the 30 there seemed moderately ok with the fare Carnatica bros provided. To me, there was no cohesivity between the vocalists & and the accompanists. The violinist was mostly rendered valueless to the proceedings, and SRImushnam/Vellore Ramabhadran combo was ok. Their styles dont mesh, no matter how good the rhythm was. RTP in Nattai Kurinji was the only one which was barely tolerable, thanks to the mridangists playing during the taanam. The brothers have a nice voice, but tend to render swarams for everything all over the place. They got a loooooooong way to go. They dont deserve a peak-time concert in my considered opinion, irrespective of all the activities they r involved with outside of the concert stage.
I attended Palghat Ramprasad's kutchery with Sri K.V.S. Vinay (violin), Sri Rohan Krishnamurthy (mridangam). Thodi was the main ragam, worthy effort and a good thani by Rohan. Vinay was a good accompaniment aslo. Salem Sriram sang well too, cant recall the list right now. Salem Sriram and Palghat Ramprasad deserve better slots that what they got this year (afternoon slots).
On a side note, The one regret I truly have is I missed Kuzhikarai Viswalingam's concert, I had to meet somebody dyring the time, and missed it. I came in for the last song, an amazing, amazing renedition. Does anybody have the song list for his concert?

shri shankara guruvaram cintitArtha is in nAgasvaravaLi and is a composition of Maha Vaidyanatha Iyer.
There are no compositions on my list in bahudAri that start with shrI shankara guruvaram or just shankara guruvaram.
There is a shankara guruvara mahima ramatitarasi which is a rAgamAlikA attributed to Mysore Vasudevachar/Vaidyanatha Shastri. The other song is shankara guruvaram AshrayE santatam in simhEndramadhyam by Lalitadasar.
