Her music is mature, Sincere and traditional she has a weighty voice, sings with clear diction and delineation of ragas with fine manodharmam
Though she had some voice trouble when she started pantuvarali varnam, it got cleared after two or three items.Makelara was very well rendered with kalpanaswarams.
Hindolam alapana was well presented for which the krithi was Padmanabha pahi of swathi thirunal.Though the alapana was bright and lively with good ideas it was racy in most of the places.
She brought the bhava of the raga in Ambanilambari of Muthuswami Dikshithar in Nilambari Ragam. Two panchama varja ragas ravichandrika and hindolam one after the other made the concert dull.
Karaharapriya alapana was appealing and catchy sung with electrifyingly fast phrases ,In addition to briga sangathis she should also bring much of subtle sangathis in alApanas.
Hindlolam the sub main was delineated for more than 10mnts like a main ragam,
Concluded the concert with a thiruppugazh and a rare Thodi Thillana
Dhimdhimtha nana dhirana dhim tha dhirana?? CouldnÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t find whose Thillana it is
She will soon be in the limelight if she organises her music well.

I would like to admit most of the views presented by trsyyengar. What I would like to add is, she proves her competency in every concert and she makes her concert very intuitive and it is never a stereo type or a gimmick for mass public.

Every ardent lover of pure classical music must make it a point to attend to her concert.

I think amba nilayathakshi - is Muthu swami dikshithar's, Ambanilambari is a compostion of Tanjore Ponnayya Pillai, if anybody knows better kindly clarify

The concert was very good I liked the extensive raga Alapana of Karaharapriya and hindolam which showed her good imagination. Violinist Rajasri amd maadipakkam suresh, mrithangam gave very good support through out.

A good concert, the artist has potential, her nyanam was evident in all the items she performed. Amba Nilambari is the Compostion of Thanjavur ponnayya Pillai and not Muthuswami Dikshithar I myself went to the artist after the concert and got clarified Violinist Rajasree was very supportive and has suswaram , she presented a serene Hindolam. Mrithangam Madipakkam suresh was lively and Supported Subha in a sensible subtle manner.
The two hours concerts was lively throughout.

The artist told that she has been learning from T N Seshagopalan at present.

Padmabhushan Sangitha Kalanidhi T N Seshagopalan sir is not only a legend and top ranking Senior concert musician but also a competent Guru of the art. He has number of disciples occupying prime position in the music field.
His son T N S Krishna is one who ascends the concerts platform with brilliance.
Shubha is a talented vocalist and will definitely progress upwards in the concert circuit with the blessings of her Guru.

what is the arohana avarohana of saranga tharangini? is it a new scale invented by the great musician GNB? I have not heard this ragam anywhere, is there any other compostion in this ragam?

Hamsanadam is diff. It is S R M P N S doesnt have deivatham. Saranga Tharangini can be taken as janya of Kalyani also.

There are many students for Padmabhushan T N Seshagopalan , not only his son T N S Krishna ,artists like Gayathri girish, Kasthuri Rangan, Madurai SUndar and sri.Neyveli santhana gopalan who is a very popluar and a top ranking musician in the field are his famous disciples
