Prashant,
Here you go!
Another gem from Sri PS. There is one phrase that has defeated me completely - I have attempted to translate it (weakly) contextually - but, I am hoping that Rajani/Arasi/Punarvasu or anyone else more knowledgeable will educate me.
pallavi
ISanE inda Ezhakkiranga innum tAmasamA
samAna rahitanAna (ISanE)
Oh Lord (ISanE) who is without (rahitanAna) compare (samAna), why this continued (innum) delay (tAmasamA) in showering your compassion (iranga) on this (inda) destitute (Ezhaikku)?
anupallavi
SrI cidambara vAsanE jagadISanE
kanaka sabhESanE naTarAjanE (ISanE)
The divine (SrI) resident (vAsanE) of the city of cidambaram, Lord (ISanE) of the entire universe (jagat), Lord (ISanE) who performs his cosmic dance in the golden (kanaka) hall (sabhA), Oh King (rAjanE) among dancers (naTa)! Why this continued delay?

I eRumbODu manidanIRA

OyvillAmal UNuRakkattiRku
uzhaikkum kavalai ozhiyavilaiyE
mAyamaNNilum peNNilum ponnilum
vaLarum ASai ozhiyavillaiyE
(ISanE)
My Lord (ISanE)! Mankind (manidan) is not able to transcend (iRA) the lives of lesser beings (like flies - I/ee and ants - erumbODu)! We are not able (illai) to get rid of (kaLavum) the numerous births (piravi) we have been forced take (eDutta). We have not had the fortune to have the incessant (OyvillAmal) distress/worries (kavalai) of having to earn a livelihood (UNu = food/eating, uRakkattirku = a place to sleep). We have not learnt to subdue (ozhiyavillaiyE) our burgeoning (vaLarum) desires (ASai) in material possessions (ponnilum - in gold), lust (peNNilum - in women), and in real estate (mAyamaNNilum - illusory earth). Oh Lord, why this ongoing delay?
caraNam 2

I have lead such a dissipated life, that I am afraid that I will not have the means (vazhiyumillaiyE) to console (ATrirukka) my mental (mana) distress (kalakkam) at the advent (vandAl) of my savior (kAyum aRaLidUtar) [1]. Oh Lord whose eyes (vizhiyOy) burnt (eritta) manmatha (kAmanai)! Oh Lord whose feet (kazhalOy) kicked (udaitta) yama (kAlanai)! Oh Lord whose locks (muDiyOy) are adorned (aNInda) by the moon (sOmanai)! Oh Lord with the bent (kuncita) feet (pAdA) who dances (naTamiDum) ever so wonderfully (sundara)! Why this perpetual delay?

kAyum aRalidUtar vandAl mana
kalakkam ATrirukka vazhiyumilaiyE
kAyum = hurting
maRali = of Yama (God of death)
dUtar = messenger
vandAl = if they come
mana = mind
kalakkam = worry
ATrirukka = stay without
vazhiyumilaiyE = don't see a way
( if the hurting messengers of the God of Death came, I have no way of staying without mental worry.)

I eRumbODu manidanIRA
yeDutta piRaivik-kaLavumilaiyE
Ravi,
according to me this will translate thus:
IerumbODu manidanIRA- starting from insects(fly,ant etc) upto the human birth
yeDutta piravik-kaLavumiliye(yeDutta piravikku aLavumilaiyE) -there is no limit to the births one has taken
and this will be-
OyvillAmal UNuRakkattiRku-(UN uRakkattiRku OyvillAmal)-without taking a break for food and sleep
uzhaikkum kavalai- the distress of working
ozhiyavilaiyE- has not been got rid of
meaning we have not given up or got rid of the distress of working continuously without taking a break for food and sleep
Others may have different views; waiting for more inputs from you and others.
