First of all - a very happy new year for all forumites.
I had originally planned to attend Abhishek's KGS kutcheri which was to begin at 09.30.
So I reached the hall at 09 AM and to my amazement, the hall was full. It was so full that they had to put chairs outside and the chairs were full. And a lot of people were standing to the fullest inside the sabha and on the road near the temple, listening to Nama sankeerthanam.
The Nama Sankeerthanam was done by Vittal Sri Jaikrishna Dikshithar.
Oh My God!!!! I am running short of words to explain the experience. It was so divine. The way he sang is still in my ears. There were easily around 1000 people today who were enchanted by his nama sankeerthanam. Most of them were chanting and singing along with him.
Personally I feel this is the very purpose of music. In those 2 hours, all of them present there seemed to be a in a total different world all together. It was such a great experience for me.
This has been the pick of the season for me so far.
