Sorry it was sahana varnam. It was not a typo. It was my bad handwriting!I have corrected it.
'The rasikas experienced the advent of spring as described by Kalidasa in his immortal epic Kumarasambhava. Yes it was vasantha which claimed the hearts of the rasikas, as ‘vasam thaa.’
’ I mentioned Kalidasa because there could be no other comparison to the vasantha sang by TNS today. Vasantha means spring., and it was truly the advent of spring
