Rasikapriya award function & felicitation to Srini

Annual "Rasikapriya" award function ,conducted by sangeethapriya.org, is planned to be held on 5th Jan 2008, at Chennai.

Also, Srini , the founder of sangeethapriya.org, is going to be felicitated by the rasika community with "Rasika Kainkarya Mani" award

I had been there for the function and it was one of the great
gatherings - especially rasikas of carnatic music to the core and it is kind of unique one! It was nice gathering and kind of a family function atmosphere. The function went very well and every one who spoke were very informal in nature and the speech came from their hearts.

Kudos to this forum and the organisers of this meet. Hope more such meets takes place atleast once in two months. I was not fortunate to stay back for the lec-dem which i understand was of very high quality. I am sure the
entire program recording will be uploaded (audio atleast) as it will be nice to share those moments to all the forum members.

Let us not forget that two of our Forumites DRS and Lakshman are Rasikapriya award winners. It is heart warming to note that Srini's tireless efforts in building the sangitapriya site have been recognized.

Hats off to all those who serve the cause of propagating CM in so many different ways!

From what i read thro' rasikapriya has given me a vivid picture of what has happened at the award function,I do not think i have missed coz the report is good and in detail.
Congrats to theorganisers and well wishers and those who have contributed tirelessly for a noble cause of CM lovers.
