Hi, I'd like to know the lyrics and meaning of this song. I realize that this song has the word "kadugi" but it is not Tamil. The only Tamil word similar to it could be kadugu, but it doesn't make sense to say it in the song.

kaDugi in tamizh means quickly. Go bring him 'quickly'.

Oh, thanks. This must be older Tamil. (and I am not sure if it is Thamil, Tamil, or Tamizh.) :)

Yes, the word is old and not much in use. However, the composer is a contemporary--Ambujam Krishna. One of my songs has a 'kaDugi' too!

Oh... thanks for also telling me the name of the composer... I had learnt this song from my Patti but she had only taught me the song and told me raga/tala. Thanks again!
