excellent concert... it lasted just about 2.5 hours..
all pieces were rendered very well. swarams for the simmhendramadhyamam (sumadyuti) piece were awesome... with great responses from the violinist... very good accompaniment by the two youngsters.
rohan's performance was quite exceptional!!! he showed excellent anticipation... mixing brisk strokes with soft strokes as and when necessary... his thani was excellent as well...
akkarai was steady throughout... just a phrase here and there which lacked "azhuttham". but overall, excellent playing... her responses to Ravikiran's ragamalika thanam were very good... keeravani and mohanam were short and sweet... surutti was very good... i couldnt make out if RK played shri or manirangu at the end... sounded like both
he played RMGRS and also RMPMRGRS
