This vicious world O Rama how can it go on without bhajan

One digs a mountain, cuts stone, and makes a statue(GodÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s) out of it
Though that statute does not talk, the pujari speaks for it O Rama

One makes a roti (Chapati) of 1200 grams ( sava ser) of flour and shows it to God(?)
The statue neither eats it nor drinks it, the pujari eats all of it O Rama

One does not give roti (food) to the living father, (but) feed it to the dead
(people) throw fist full of grains to crows, and turn crows to (their) fathers

Kabir says - hark all you noble men - this vicious world O Rama how can it go on without bhajan (i.e. praying to you)
