I am very happy to inform members that a channel SHRI SHANKARA purely for slokas, bhajans, spirital lectures, temples, music,,prayers , veda recitaland many other aspects pertaining to religion is telecast 24 hours daily. Iam not sure about Chennai which is flooded with channels forserials, cinemas and filmsongs alone. Fortunately there are Podhigai and JAYATV WHICH TELECAST CLASSICAL MUSIC AND RELIGIOUS MATTERS., you can request your cable operator at TVM to telecast sriSankara, which will be definitely liked by likeminded people who are plenty. The programmes cover tamil,telugu, kannada,sanskrit languages gobilalitha

There is also SVBC(Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel) which is the channel of TTD. They also telecast concerts of many artistes(amateurs and professionals) daily. It is a very good channel. We get it here in Chennai.

Any chanell can be got anywhere, provided the cable operators or the dish tv broadcasters cooperate .For instance in most ofthe countries , other than cricket playing nations, they charge extra amount for telecast of cricket matches,Singapore for instance
