Bombay Jayashri - Ramanavami Fort High School Bangalore 4th

Smt Bombay Jayashri presented the second concert of the series in the Fort High School's 71st Rama Navami series. i hope i got the song list and ragas correct--anyone who attended can correct if i am wrong-
1. Tatwamariya Tharama- Reetigowla
2. Maruvakura Mohanaanga- Mohana- brief swaras
3. Ananda Natana prakasham- Kedara
4. Shyama Sundaranga Sakala Shaktiyu neeve- Dhanyasi- Alapana, brief Neraval, Swaras.
5. Raghuvara Nannu- Pantuvarali
6. Rama Nee Samanamevaru-Kharaharapriya-- a brilliant Alapana,. kriti, neraval at Paluku paluku, swaras and tani.
7. Sri Venkata girisha- Surutti
8. RTP in Ranjani, Mishra Jhampe Tala, Ranjani bhavabhanjani pankaja lochani matangi maam pahi- with ragamalika swaras in Kanada and Bowli(?)
9. Kande Na govindana- chandrakauns.
10. Gopala Govinda radhe krishna murare- a very beautiful Meera Bhajan rendered evocatively in Hindustani style (i think it is Shyam Kalyan?)
11. Tillana in Behag.

It was a soothing and good concert, though it somehow lacked the usual depth of emotions that a Jayashri concert has. May be also had to do with the TERRIBLE sound system. The organizers should learn to have good sound systems before going ahead and fixing such long cncert series i feel !

ragamalika swaras were in kAnaDa and malayamArutam

my take, pretty ordinary uninspiring concert.
