The kutcheri had a liveliness right from the beginning and that was maintained till the ending.
SN came with flying colours in all areas of singing leaving no stone unturned.Her distribution was excellent and shows her clear objectives.
Her 'manodharmam' was at its best yesterday.Her essays of Ananda Bhairavi and Purvi Kalyani stood testimonial to this.Her kalpana swara singing for Saranga and Purna Chandrika was excellent.
Akhilandeswari which came after the tani was sedate and transcended one from this material world to the eternal.
CR gave excellent support on violin and was full of melody.
JV provided vibrant support throughout and played an excellent tani.
A very good concert.My mind and heart was full when I came out of the hall while SN's music was still ringing in my ears.

I was there for this concert from asAveri till end and this was my first concert experience of vidushi savita.
Pluses of Concert

# Definitely excellent diction , all krithis had clean delivery.
# Her voice is very soothing and she adds quite a lot of sowkhyam , particularly liked her asAveri and Anandabhairavi
# JV was excellent and really played beautifully without robbing sowkhyam anywhere
Minuses of Concert

# Perhaps savita can also focus in bringing little more aggression , there was little more tilt towards sowkhyam
# PoorvikalyAni alApanai was bit repetitive (I guess 8 out of 10 musicians go in circles),savita was in that 8 out of 10 .
# Her swaras were not very detailed , poorvikalYani was quite good ,poornachandirkA was bit too short.
# The violinist though played very well in return , could have added more karuna rasam in poorvikalyAni in the main alAPanai.
# It was 08:15 Pm, she sang exactly for 15 minutes to wind up with dwijAvanthi and shuruTTi. Would have loved if she had lost her self more with the music and given atleast 15 minutes.
meenAkshi memudham dehi had close to 11 minutes alApanai , 9 minutes each for neraval ,swaras and tani. Overall a good to very good concert, need to hear her to get a much better second impression(hope that day the main is not a poorvikalyAni).
