It was a fabulous concert. Each piece was rendered with great bhavam and the phrases were all totally moving and inspiring. The manOdarma parts were all totally classical and made a real treat to the listeners. The choice of songs and their renditions were all very good. mukhAri was very moving. The main tODi was very elaborate and bore the true colours of the ragam to the fullest. The accompanists were very good and played very very aptly.

It was a great concert. Truly inspiring and wonderful concert from the veteran musician.

I always try not to say this, but I am really short of words ... every moment of the concert was filled with lovely music. Btw I came in some phrases into the mukhAri, so I mean every moment from then on.

Are any recordings of this master avalible on the net or commercially ?

I guess his melbourne concert in 2003 is available as commercial recording. I see this when I do a search in google.
I guess this is veena.

From all reports he is one brillant musician, I cant understand how he has been under the microscope for so long (he still is to a certain extent . I certainly havent heard much of him.
