Overall yet another delightful concert by Sri Rama Varma. Highlights were the Rasikapriya Kriti of Dr. Balamuralikrishna, MDR Kriti in Yadukulakamboji and the ragalapana and swarams of Simhendramadhyamam. MDR Kriti Nivale daivamu made my day. Dr. Hemalatha's violin was very much complementing Prince's music. The short Thaniavarthanam was also quite interesting . Although the concert was quite interesting but the audio setting was pathetic from start to end despite several attempts to put it in order.

devi_Thanks for your review, Could n't make it. By mind was totally for this concert.
Anyway, during 7-730 PM, I chanced listening to Prince in a Telugu Channel, Bhakthi describing
" Shankarabharanam" and singing a couple of songs in Shankarabharanam and it's derivatives like kurinji and a song of Amara Narayana tuned by Dr Balamurali. sithA kalyAna & sri krishnA enu sounded as though it was being sung by Dr Balamurali. The disciple is able to produce the same effect as the guruji. Prince may be the torchbearer of Dr Balamurali's bAni. I'm sure u also would have felt the same while listening to "rAma Rama ena rAda".
