It was an electrifying and wonderful concert by Ganesh and Kumaresh this evening. Almost in consonance with their music the rains battered down and cooled Bangalore that was reeling under heat. Everything about the concert was so pleasing. From a nice Jalajakshi varnam in Hamsadhwani to a soulful Heccharikaga radha, sprightly Yochana in Durbar and a beautifully elaborate Purvikalyani alapana followed by Deva deva Jagadeeshwara with brisk swaras the brothers enthralled. Sadly being an old man who relies on the city's poor public transport and fearing gthe rains get worse i had to leave after this. But the melody is still ringing in my ears.! if someone has the entire song list of the concert please post !

It was just a cracker of concert. Fireworks all through. It was simply great. It will be great if someone posts the song list. Hari Kumar on Mridhangam and Amruth on Kanjira simply enjoyed playing. Each took turns to accompany the duo. There was RTP ! Manasa Sancharare, Bagyada Lakshmi Baramma, Hari varasanam, Neelamayil velmuruga (?) were played towards the end.

I happened to visit Bangalore and could attend this wonderful concert. RTP was in nalinakanti with swaras in a lot of ragas, most of which I could not recognise.
On saturday, Mandolin Srinivas concert was also too good. From the person sitting next to me I learnt that the raga was Dharmavati. I couild attend only one hour of both concerts. I request the learned members to post more reviews/information.

This was sung by Ganesh on special request of Amruth. There were many requests (chits) arriving on stage while they were playing. And the winner is Amruth

Mandolin duos played in dharmavathi. Is that RTP or main. Anybody has the song list of this concert

pl check my listing on that topic. Dharmavati was neither main / RTP in the concert. It was Keeravani - Kaligiyunte Kada

Hi balsree..

I think we should catch up sometime at concert. ..... and can also avoid errors in my listing.
