I really enjoyed the whole concert. Swaras rained throughout the concert and nature too contributed its share of rain. Patri satish lumar's playing was awesome. His accompaniment for the kritis was really great as was evident by many "beshs" from krishnan during the play. What impressed me the most was Krishnan's Kannada and Vijayalakshmi's SM. She also beautifully sang the pallavi. It left me asking that she could do the singing during the entire pallavi session :) .

Organizer announced that Amruth is well versed in Kanjira, Mridhangam, Ghatam and one more instrument .

The thodi was superb. I don't hear this beautiful krithi much these days.
last year when Vid. Balakrishna played the same song on the veena it rained like this year :)
The pallavi ragamalika was sahana, kanada, nasikabushani and bindumalini
The first song was Pancha Matanga - dikshitar - malahari

@ balsree

karnATaka kApi as I've heard is a raga strongly resembling kAnaDa. This one resembles hkambhoji.

Nenendu Vedakudura is in Karnata Behag, a raga very close to Harikambhoji.

I heard them announcing ( and not the rendering) as Karnataka Kapi. So i left it that way. I rather update the same and avoid all confusions :)
