I got the script from the net only.
Kindly provide me the meaning for this song. If there is any correction to be made pl. inform.

Here is the meaning with some corrections:

P: O raghuvIrA yani nE pilacina O hOyana rAdA

When I call you "Oh raghuvIra", why don't you respond by saying "Oh - Oh"?

A: sAreku mari vEsAri yanyamu jEradu nAmadi ErA dhIrA

My mind doesn't get tired and does not seek refuge in others, then , why Oh courageous one?

C1: nITajikki kari mATiki vEsAri nATakadhAri nI pATalu pADaga
when the elephant was trapped in the water and was frustrated and sang you praises Oh dramatist!

mETi makari tala mITi gAcina daya Etiki nApai nETiki rAdO
the way you slayed the crocodile and saved the elephant, I wonder why don't you have similar sympathy on me today?

2: munnu sabhanu nA paNata vEDucu ninnu kRSNAyani ennaga draupadi
ealier, when Darupadi, who was at stake, pled and called out "Krishna" to you,

kennO valuvalicci mannana brOcina vennuDa nA mora viNTivO lEdO
you saved her with a lot of clothes, Oh vishnu! did you hear my prayer or not?

3: baNTunaitinani uNTE parAkuna nuNTivi telisi mukkaNTi vinuta nA
I noticed that you are lunkewarm since I have kept a low profile as a servant, Oh savior of Lord Shiva!

jaNTa bAyaka venuveNTa rammani vEDu koNTi bhadragiri rAmadAsa pOSaka

I heard a version of this song in Khamboji in a reality show. Its simply amazing. The lyrics are simply wonderful.

There was a telecast today in Bhakti TV(telugu) where this kriti was taken up by Nedunuri garu in the "Pahi Rama Prabho" program. He rendered it in sAmA; he also mentioned it was tuned earlier in madhyamAvati, but he felt sAmA suited well.

There will be a re-telecast tomorrow, 2nd August 2009 at 4PM..

Many thanks VKRAMAN Sir, for the link from 'acidplanet.com'.

I am sure Nedunuri garu must not have meant that it cannot be sung in any other raagam. He said something like '"sAmAlo paadi choosthe/choopisthe (many times he used to discuss with voleti garu and other vidwans, he mentioned once) baaga anipichindhi.. When I tried to translate, perhaps it sounded differently........
