The Concert was organised by Shri Chellamani Thyagaraja aradhana commitee under the patronage of
Mata Brahmanandamayi who blessed the artists

It was heartenig to see 3 Mumbai artists accompany artist of calibre of Nithyashree.
Both Nityashree and Krishnaswamy were supportive of them with generous encouragement and shabash through out the concert.

Gopalaka - Revagupti - alaapanai and swaram
Endaro mahanaubhavulu - Sri
Nenarunchi - Malvi
Shri jagadambikai - Latangi - alaapanai and swaram
Mayamma - Ahiri
Shri Krishna rBhaja - Todi
Neraval and swaram at Changu chakra gadha
followed by thani for 12 mins
Narayana ennum namam - Mata Brahmanadamayi - Karnataka Kapi
Theerada vilayattu pillai - raga maligai
Kapalinee - Palini
Pavamana - Mangalam

Dr.Nityashree was in full form from word go giving a crisp crackling performance.

Endaro and Nenarunchi were rendered with racing tempo leaving the audience gasping for breath after the breakneck swaram for Nenarunchi bringing down the hall in a thunderous applause.

Gopalaka,mayamma and Kapalini were moving .

Todi was the highlight with brilliant alap and neravala and swaram.
Thani was too good.
I am looking forward to hearing Rajesh on 17/5 during Smt Parasala ponnammal concert on 17/5 in Shanmukananda.
He was brilliant and all the accompanying artists had a good rapport with Nithyashree which was obvious by her appreciation of them.

My only regret was it was a short 2 hrs 15 mins concert which was delayed by 20 mins due to a bharata natyam perforrmance held before.
Still it was a wonderful concert from Dr Nityashree.for a packed audience.

I'm happy to see this report. Sri Rajesh is a brilliant artiste [whom I have had the privilege to perform with a few times] and it's good to see him accompany more and more Chennai musicians.

Wow another wonderful concert by Nithyasree. Mumbai rasikas are getting to hear her very often.

I have never heard her thodi till date, wish i were there in this concert
Well khamas krithi she sings very well.
Kapali nee dayanidhi is a composition of her mother Smt. Lalitha Shivakumar. Its simply moving song
I just love it. Mrs.Lalitha according to me is a wonderful composer
I heard her compositions in Palini,Megharanjani and Vaasanthi. There is also a thillana in 4 ragams she composed it very well
