Meenakshi Navaratna Maala by Sri. Shyama Sastri was broadcasted on Sunday & To-day in the morning slot 05:30 AM to 06:00 AM. I feel it's a set of Videos and remaining couple of videos may follow daily. TNS gave a brief introduction abt How these compositions were composed by Sri.Shyama Shastri on Madurai Meenakshi. The first video had two songs which included the famous " marivEre dhiKeVaraMa" in Ananda Bhairavi.
To-day, the Kambodhi;Shankarabharanam & Lalitha songs were sung. Shankarabharanam & Lalitha ragas were sung in the inimitable TNS style. I liked his handling Lalitha. A very enjoyable Videos.This set of songs of Shyama Sastri sung by TNS may be unique.

To-day "sarOja dhala nEthri" in Shankarabharanam(N &S) & "mAyaMa" in Ahiri were sung. The accompliments for first two videos & to-day were different. M Chandrasekaran; Guruvayur Dorai; ( Ghatam by ?) were on the acompliments to-day. I think, seven songs have been completed in the three videos.

The final video was broadcasted to-day. TNS sang Dhanyasi( N& S) & Kalyani songs. Although the former was more detailed followed by a short Thani, the latter song was just presented w/o any frills.
Really satisfying set of Videos. This may be the Best Tribute to Shyama Shastri.
