Their viruththam repertoire is excellent and they are the one of the finest singers of viruththam . I have not heard by them dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara. Can some body get the opening lines of this viruththam. I am guessing "AnAtha selvathu arumpeyargal tharsuzzha ", by kulasekara azhwar.shriranjani wrote: 10)viruttam in Kambodi,Dhanyasi,Hamsanandi on Lord Venkateswara foll by Srinivasa-Hamsanandi-Sivan

Yes, the words were something like that-wherein the Azhwar asks for a birth as a fish in the pond in thiruvengadam and some such things; it was so moving and rendered with so much of emotion.
vazhimRaiitirukkudE was sung so beautifully ;brought tears to my eyes. I felt that if they had sung this at the temple, the, mADU' would have defintely moved. I really mean it.
Had to miss the last two songs.
A very satisfying concert.

I came in a little late, guess when they just started nattaikurunji...The duo were in great form....Thodi had the regular sancharas and prayogas...But to me the pick of the concert was the RTP...The sisters effortlessly switched from Arabhi to Anandabhairavi...The pallavi set to Kanda Jathi Triputa Thalam (Kanta Nadai) was amazing...The ragamalika swaras in all the bhairavis was mesmerising...Especially gayatri's rendition of Sindhu Bhairavi had some good permutations and combinations..Overall a really satisfying concert...Mumbaikars are in for some good music even next week..Eagerly waiting for Parsala Ponnamal..Haven't heard her before but reading all the reviews here, can't wait for the week pass by...

Rajesh and punarvasu,
The lovely viruttam:
AnAda Selvattu arambaiyargaL taRSUzha,
vAnALum Selvamum maNNarasum vENDEn,
tEnAr pUnJOlait tiruvEngaDac cunaiyil,
mInAip piRakkum vidiyuDaiyEn AvEnE!
I crave not for reigning the realms of the gods where the celestial damsels live. I long for being born as a fish in the spring waters of tiruvEngaDam which taste like nectar (or: where nectar-filled flowers bloom).
Yes, the sisters sing beautiful viruttams.
