Bombay Sisters at Karpaga Vinayakar Temple, Adyar, Chennai (

I went to the concert of Smt.Saroja and Smt.Lalitha, the renowned Bombay Sisters, on 16th May at Sri Kapaga Vinayakar Temple, Karpagam Gardens,Adyar,Chennai.
The accompaniments were Sri Ganapathy Raman on the mridangam, Sri Ananthapadhmanabha on the violin and Sri Sivaramakrishnan on the Ghatam. It was an exemplary performance by the team.

What an excellent performance!! I really loved the concert. It was one of those rare concerts where the accompaniments and the music were equally appreciable.

The first song was a refresher no doubt as it was "jaya jaya jAnakI"

No. It is Neelakanta Sivan's composition. I had written Papanasam Sivan but I have corrected it. Thanks for commenting.
