This is my new poem. Please tell me how this is. I have diluted the educational part as many found my previous poem on Bilahari to be more of a journal of information rather than a poem! This one is almost similar to the one on "Kharaharapriya". Here you go. This is dedicated to all Shankarabharanam lovers!

Daring Darling

Jewel of the Juvenile, Ornament of the Old,
You are more valued than Gold!
Adored friend of an author,
Instinctively promising honour!

The counterpart of Kalyani,
You do not have any other phony!
Bubbly, Lively and Blissful,
Hocked by Narasayya, the thoughtful!

South Indian treasure,
Harbinger of Pleasure,
Gandharam is your heart,
Dhanammal School’s forte!

Preference of the Trinity,
Reverence due to Humility,
As you gave us so many broods,
Of which most evoke ecstatic moods!

Vilamba, Madhyama or Duritha,
Your unparalleled extravaganza,
Will remain in our hearts forever!
Esteemed by Srinivas, who respects your Enamour!

Hope you liked it. This time, I am not giving any footnotes. I think everything is quite understandable.
Waiting for your feedback!![especially cmlover] =)

We did not have to read the poem to guess the ragam; the cat was out of the bag in the intro. itself. :)

Very nice, Srinivasaraghavan.
I like the way you weave your name into the poem as a mudra in a kruti. Something new!
