The composer's name is not known. I read somewhere that it is by Mayuram Vishvanatha Shastri but could not get confirmation.

friends, i wanted to ask this, in sangeethapriya yahoo groups, i just went through the general rules.

one of them was, dont post in all caps. and also, i found out that this forum also does not allow posts with all capital letters.

some of my posts are in all caps, since i found it easy while tab-bing from my blog and this forum.

is there any significance in this rule? am new to netiquette, so want some guidance.

i learnt from my friends that ALL CAPS amounts to 'shouting' in net and sms parlance. thats why it is not allowed in most of the international forums.

unaware of this, i was profusely using all caps. sorry, if it was disturbing.

Its in the first puzzle: http://sunson.wordpress.com/2009/03/29/ ... -puzzle-1/

Good job at the clue. You should change "in" to "with" to make it more correct. Also can avoid the word Indian as it makes it too obvious.

Another way:
Garland the text editor singing this raga (6)

Now that would be cryptic :)
