another death news,S.Rajaram passed away yesterday.
he was the former director of kalAkshEtra and grandson of Mysore Vasudevacharya.Members from Bangalore may provide more news,he was there only,with his son.

Yet another shocking news on the same day.

After the demise of Rukmini Devi, Sri Rajaram did his utmost to preserve the legacy of the great lady by taking over as the Director of Kalakshetra.

May his soul rest in peace.

This news is unbelievable. Last Sunday, May 31st, he was chief guest at a dance programme dedicated to Mysore Vasudevacharya's kritis at Bangalore.

What a beautiful tribute by Gowri Ramnarayanan to a man of many talents and merits! Rajaram's love and adoration for his grandfather (and guru) reminded me of the relationship between kavi kunjara dAsan (Koteeswara Aiyer) and his grandfather kavi kunjaram...
