Identifying G3 R3 D3 N3 on veena

Please help me identify G3 on veena . m practising with the notes. hav learnt only a few geetham. now After a 10 yr gap, m reely mad abt learning Veena ,but I m not in a position to go to a class for another few months..
I want enough practise and interest to go back to my master .
I vaguely remember its on the second string behind R2/M1 not sure.
Also , I donno the SPS for second string , so could not tune it.
but I badly want to know it.

If I'm not wrong, the string nearest to you is madhyasthAyi sa. The second (nearest-to-you) string is mantra sthyAyi pa, the third string is the sa below that, the fourth string is the pa below that. I'm talking about the "free" strings.
