wasn't the venue usually the mutt near ulsoor lake..? Has the venue changed..? or is it a case of senthil's banana(addAN idu)!

No this is not the venue close to the lake,it is happening in the venue which is close to NGEF factory(new one).
I think they conduct festivals alternatively between these two venues.

The new one near NGEF is their own building and the old one (odakathur mutt) was being hired by them. THey will be holding the annual event only at their own building every year...

During Shivarathri this year (in february) both the venues had concerts.
I attended few concerts in the old venue as well.
Also i feel SGBS monthly concerts alternate between these two venues (I may be wrong here).

I am planning to come with family for the programs next weekend. Need the help of the bangaloreans to suggest nearby hotel and availability of transport from the venue to hotel especially after the UKB program on Saturday night (ends at 1 AM!). Is there any possibility of staying back at the venue itself???
