Thanks for the review, Sivakami.

Any idea if Shri Vijayaraghavan is a resident of Adayar, Chennai now? I know someone who learnt from a disciple of TNS by the same name-- just wondered if it was the same person.

Many thanks.

Sivakami,
Thanks to you and Revanth for your Hyderabad concert reviews.

Haven't heard so many Ambujam Krishna songs in oe concert (except in thematic concerts). All such good ones. The rAga mAlikA pallavi is: gAna mazhai pozhiginRAn kaNNan

the song list is very TNS-esque..

hamIr kalyANi tillana is most likely, the mutthiah bhAgavatar one.. a TNS stock song..

And it is kOdaNDarAmam in kOkilAravam..

Keep the jekyllandhyde-rabad reviews coming..

Sometime before with nearly the same lines Shri TNS sang this bhajan in the rAgam vakulAbharanam with a ustad touch. Not sure if it was sung in the same rAgam. Very nice song selection.

IIRC his father Sri Calcutta Kannan used organise chamber concerts in East Tambaram in late 80's and early 90's. I have attended some wonderful concerts of DKJ , TVS, TNS and others in a setting similar to our rasikas.org concerts. May be Kulkarni will remeber the TVS concert we enjoyed there.

Good to see him blossom in the concert circuit. He was for long on the sidelines despite his potential.
