I have heard only one rendition of Abheri with the shuddha dhaivatam - T M Krishna singing vINAbheri. Does anyone have any other recordings in the public domain? Please post if you have any. Thanks.

I have some samples (albeit not full renditions) at: http://sunson.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/ ... conundrum/

IMO, "abheri with shuddha dhaivatam" is ambiguous. There are *two* such abheris - dIkshitar's one, and the one in which nagumOmu was originally composed (and one in which papanasam sivan's kanda vandarul is composed in - which is being mostly rendered as such). This difference is touched upon in the above page.
