Above song sung by Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna in Podhigai TV and the raga name mentioned as Hamsadwani. Was it correct?

I don't know about Podhigai but he has sung it in this raga in a commercial cassette Sangeetha 6ECDB 449

It is hamsadwani. He sings it in madyma sruti which is why it would appear as something else

This rag appears to be ' Shankara" (HM). Rag Shankara has similarities to Rag - Hamsadwani of CM.
The aroh and avaroh of Rag Shankara is:

SGP.NDSN.S - SNP.GPRG.S (a janya of Bilaval That)
