Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel a free to air channel run by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams are broadcasting live music concerts from Tirumala under the Nada Nirajanam banner. I am not sure of the schedule but have seen Carnatic concerts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Bhajans and other devotional forms on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The concerts are between 7pm to 8.30pm. There were concerts in the previous weeks by Malladi Brothers and T M Krishna
Yesterday, there was a very good concert by Vijay Siva. Here is the partial list
Vocal - Vijay Siva
Violin - R K Sreeramkumar
Mrudangam - Manoj Siva
(Incomplete list and not in correct order as well)
* ...
* ...
* Rangapura Vihara, Brindavana Saranga, Muthuswamy Dikshitar
* Nadachi Nadachi, Karaharapriya, Tyagaraja
* Sankari Sankuru , Saveri, Syama Sastri
* Vittala salaho swami, Kapi, Purandara dasa
* ..., ..., ootukadu Venkata subba iyer
The trio combined very well and the concert was memorable for its selection, quality and presentation.

I was fortunate enough to see this program.
He started with sadabala rupapi slokam, annamacharya keerthana - vandeham jagatvallabham in hamsadhwani, and then kamas keerthana - seethapathe. After that pantuvarali alapana and visalakshi of dikshitar. He sang a slokam - kalyanollasa seema and then rangapura vihara. sankari sankuru was before nadachi nadachi, and he sang a rajarajeshwari ashtakam preceding it. He also sang - sharada bhujangam. The alapana of pantuvarali and kharaharapriya were brief and rendered beautifully. A nice and complete concert in 90 minutes, though manodharma portions were less.
Today at 7pm, mambalam sisters.

Happy to hear about the matchless sponsor of all! Great news that Tirupathi is energizing the CM world. The bhakta jana pOshaka is also
sangeeta jana pOshaka! May it continue and may musicians flourish.
Vijay Siva and prime selection of songs go hand in hand.
RasikAs often speak of bhakti in the same breath as music. Here, tirumaliYan blesses bhaktAs with music prasAdam too!
Hope the 'watching' audience--at least some of them, get drawn into concert halls too. The positive influence of the goggle box.
