I am just seeing this only today, not yet clicked the link. Possibly will take a print out during the week. Will keep the deadline till next weekend sept 12,2009.

When you say
p.s. there r 2 'narayanan' type clues in the puzzle.
I am assuming they are in arabic where the answer can be malayalam in only one way ;) Is that right?

I got 10 or 12 in first pass. I have not written the answers in the crossword directly as you have two googlies which are from right to left. I prefer you to atleast point which are the two googlies from right to left (dont give answers) so that we dont mess the crossword and break our head by writing it wrongly.

No more piDi's please....

haha. 12 and 22 down. both are inverted and not from right to left.

16 and 15 also combine to form a single clue. the raga's name contains 9 letters and i have split into 5 and 4 letters. of course it makes sense even after splitting.

narayanan,
For every crossword of yours, suji or arunk, there is a pattern to my answers :

I always struggle to get the last two , one always turns out impossible for ever till the answer is given (as mahameru) ,and the other is such a sitter that is so easy to look back and say O god how i missed this (as ambika)
