Great concert. The slight Dikshitar tilt, one understands is due to a specific request from the organizer. Bahudari as the centrepiece was kind of an off-beat choice I thought, but the execution was top-notch, to be expected of such an erudite artiste. My personal picks: most of the MD pieces (K. Suddhasaveri, Kalavati, Nagagndhari) and the Bhairavi padam. Ritigaula alapana did justice to the raktitva of the raga and the penultimate kharaharapriya had some scintillating briga sangatis. Kannan & Manoj Siva are among today's finest accompanists and they were very good last night.

So many things stood out to me making this an extra-ordinary concert.
1. Bahudari main and neraval at pallavi line
2. Bhairavi and Kharaharapriya in elaborately sung tukkadas bringing out full raga swaroopam
3. Swaras for kalavati (a double shot of vivadi) and karnataka sudha saveri
4. neraval for paripalayamam at charanam
5. A ringingly melodious nagagandhari presumably to soothe the intellectual strain caused until then
Incidentally tunga teera was in Yamunakalyani IIRC
