I am writing this with much frustration. I spent about one hour this morning writing to start discussion on a new topic. When I hit the submit button, I got an error message stating that the session had timed out!

I am not sure I will be able to re-write exactly what I wanted to say in that posting - Is there any chance the techies can retrieve what I had attempted to post this morning, and also fix the bug?

Did you click the retry option when this 'session timed out' screen popped up. It happened to me once. I hit the back space, saved the content in a Word file. However, the back-up was not necessary as the retry option did work

Hey, in fact, even for this reply the same 'session timed out screen' popped up even though I am in session for less than two minutes. Simply hit the prvious screen button and click 'retry'

All
please type in notepad save it in your local file and then copy and paste into this site. I always do that for big posts like starting a new leaf of reviews etc. In fact all my typings since the day from the site of sangeetham.com going down is in my local text file at first.

Yes, Rajesh's is a good idea. At the very least, just select all your text and copy it before clicking "Submit", so even if the submission is a failure, you can repeatedly paste your data in subsequent tries.

Frustrating as it is, I hit 'Back' and the whole page (with my post) reappears, and when I hit 'Sumbit' again, all's well!

This feature has been implemented by our service provider probably just to remind that everybody should think before they post :)

CMlover easy for you to say "think" before you post--the thoughts flow only when I start posting!! besides it is heartening to note that I am in great company when it comes to such "digital frustrations"
