The 2nd Annual Shri. Ootthukkadu Venkata Kavi Aradhana was celebrated on Saturday, 07 November 2009 at the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Hindu temple, Irving, Texas, U.S.A. In the words of Sangeet Samrat Shri. Chitravina N. Ravikiran, "in the galaxy of all-time great vaggeyakaras of Carnatic music, Ootthukkadu Venkata Kavi will always find a place as a shining star."
