Viewing the DVDs at my residence on 22.11.2009.

Dear Rasikas,

I have purchased a new 50 inches Plasma TV [LG make] recently.

I am planning to play some important private collections of my DVDs at my residence on
22ND November 2009 from 10.00 AM to 13.30 PM.

I invite all Rasikas of the forum for viewing the DVDs.

Even though 430 Rasikas have visited this thread, only 3 Rasikas have confirmed for the viewing of the DVDs at my residence on 22.11.2009.

I can assure you that the DVDs proposed to be shown are the ones that will remain in your mind for a long time.

Being a Sunday morning session, I wish more Rasikas can make it to view the DVDs.

I was one of the lucky few to view the DVD at Mr.Nageswaran's house last Sunday. It was on - Kabir and Kumar Gandharva. The way the docu was presented was truly remarkable and it is difficult to express in words how I felt about it. Kumar Gandharv's stunning voice singing the soulful Kabir bhajans is still ringing in my mind !

The DVDs appear to be those of the Kabir Project that have gotten rave reviews on this forum. The DVDs are available for sale online at their website - the Kumar Gandharva one is shown below.

Mrs.Radha Bhaskar and other Rasikas,

I am very happy that all of you have come to my home and enjoyed the viewing the DVD.

The documentary was produced by Mrs. Shabnam Virmani in an excellent manner.

Before seeing the Docu, I have been listening to the Kabir's Bhajans in Hindustani music concerts only for the sake of music.

The excellent sub titles in English for the Verses of KabirÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Bhajans give an insight into the elavated thoughts of Kabir on Nirgun music propagated by the folk singers.

I would have been more happy if many more Rasikas viewed the DVD.
