Hi,

Is there any site or do you know of anybody who could answer our queries related to dance. I have lots of doubt in nattuvangam especially the count in jathis and factors like that. Is there anybody who could clear it for me. I sincerely thank them who could help me. Please help.

Hi,

She talks more about the practicals i.e about dance but not anything about Nattuvangam. Is there anybody to clear the doubts on Nattuvangam or teached online Nattuvangam.

thanks.

Hi,

Has anybody purchased the cd on natturvangam which was recently released by Mr. Seetharama sharma. How useful would it be for beginners. Your reply to this is greatly appreciated.

I would like to learn from the cd.

@laya2: Doubts in counting of jathis and 'things like that' are doubts in taalam. Nattuvangam is the art of rendering sollus on symbals. If u have a recording of jathi that you would like to decompose and learn to put in taalam, many members here can help. If you have doubts in how to strike the natuvangam, i am sure many teachers like parimal can help. If you are a beginner, i suggest you get a grip on taalam for carnatic music first.
