Excellent concert with all round appeal in every facet of music such as, technical, emotional, melodic, rhythmic etc.. Kamalambam occupied center stage for almost an hour with a leisurely neraval followed by brisk swaras capped with a terrific thani bringing out the best of Sri. Easwaran's playing. The nadai variations in the songs in the pre-main portion of the concert including jathi in the OVK composition and the lively partnership with the percussion team made for an absorbing concert.
By the way, Nada murali was sung in Hameer kalyani and it was Vasantha not Hamsanandi in the ragamalika virutham.
