I am new to posting in this group although I have been following the discussions regularly. I am in the process of putting together an online calendar that would allow dates to be highlighted on a calendar based on country, city, venue, artiste name, type of event and range of dates etc.. for events related to music. I have seen several requests to this effect in earlier discussions and have been thinking of providing a solution to this for a while now.
I have created a Google spreadsheet to allow artistes to update their tour schedules and concert/workshop events at http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... xWVE&hl=en. This spreadsheet would be fed into our database and would appear on an online calendar with search capabilities.
I would like to request artistes to update their schedules here so that it maybe useful to rasikas worldwide. The calendar will be available online by next week and I'm sure it will prove to be valuable only if schedules are updated regularly by artistes. If you are an artiste and don't have time to do this , please email me directly and we can do it for you if you provide us your details.
