request for audio.

Hi,

Does anyone have the audio for the following three songs suitable for bharatanatyam performances?

1) Natanam adinar
2) Bho Shambho
3) Chandra chooda

Natanam Aadinaar is available commercially in several CDs. You might want to visit kalakendra's website, celextel's website to search for this. I am sure Bho Shambo is available commercially as well as it's very popular. A quick "googling" showed it's available in hummaa and raaga.com. Check out Sangeethamshare. I believe I listened to MLV's 'chandra chooda' rendition there. It's not dance-able though.

My request to all is to not share music that is commercially available. Bharathanatyam music is such a small and niche market. If we do not buy it, people won't produce it. We don't have enough recorded songs to dance and we want handful of companies that are producing Bharathanatyam music to keep doing so. BTW, I am not a producer. I am just a dancer that is frustrated with lack of good recordings.

kalakendra has very good collection of bharatanatyam Cds and i used to buy many from them just for listening. i plan to visit them in chennai next time i visit them.
