T.V.Sankaranarayanan - Vocal
T.V.Ramanujacharyulu - Violin
Umayalpuram K.Sivaraman - Mridangam

1. Mahapandithe - Hamsadwani (S)
2. ?? - Ananda Bhairavi (S) - this song was rendered very well
3. Sadanandha Thandavam - Bahudari (AS)
4. Nambiketavar - Kalyani (ANS) - His son rendered the alapana
5. Punniyam Oru Kodi - Keeravani (ANS) - TVS gave Thani after this but UKS did tell something to TVS and he did not play the Thani
6. Saravana Bhava Guhane - Kannada
7. Sukhi Evaruro - Kanada (ST) - Very short alapana and after this UKS started Thani.. as usual it was brilliant
8. Virutham

Overall very good concert. TVS sang Punniyam oru Kodi since it was Kanchi Paramacharyar's day. Incidentally after the Thani Avarthanam he took "Punniyam" and then later realized that and took the line "Sukhi Evaruro". He then apologized to audience saying "acharya nyabagama eduthuten".

Is the AB krithi O jagadamba!
What is the name of the accompanying artist (son)?
Wonder whether MMI has sung keeravani as main song (he has sung mostly as RTPs)?

Shree Sree Sundar Kumar was on the Kanjira in this concert, if I remember right. The Anandabhairavi song was Sadbhaktiyu Galga. And the first Hamsadhwani piece was Mahaganapathe.

Sukhi evaro is a Thyagaraja kriti.

EDIT: Sorry, by ST you mean swaram and thani here I think, and not Swati Tirunal. :)

I remember his 1985 dec.@the same place.

He sang kamas - brochevarevarura,Shanmukapriya - marivere and an excellent RTP in Jujavandhi. The accompanists were VVs & Trichy Sankaran.I was a teenager then.

It seems TVS has forgotten the above kritis as well as kritis in ragas like shubapantuvarali, natakapriya, poornachandrika, ranjini, etc.which he used to sing before.

Now attending a TVS concert is like taking stale food.

Many of the Tulaseevanam kritis, Tanjore Sankara Iyer kritis were popularized by TVS, apart tamil countless viruthams
