Flute: VK Raman
Mridangam: ??
Violin: ??

1. Sami Daya (Varnam - Adi - Tiruvottriyur Tyagaraja)
2. Sri Mahaganapathi (Natai - Adi - Mayuram Visvanatha Sastry S
3. Padmavathi Ramanam (Purvi Kalyani - Mishra Chapu - Oothukadu Venkata Subba Iyer) RNS
4. Raghunatha Nannu (Swararanjani - Adi - Ramanathapuram Srinavasa Iyengar)
5. Chakkani Raja (Kharaharapriya - Adi - ThyAgarAjar) RNST
6. RTP (Brindavana SAranga)
7. ??
8. Krishna Nee Begane Baro (Yamuna Kalyani)

The concert was alright till the RTP. Nothing special about the Purvi Kalyani. Kharaharapriya alapanai was dealt with a different approach, and it was enjoyable for the first few minutes. Swaram was good as well.

RTP in Brindavana Saranga was the highlight of the concert. It was a pleasure to listen to. The pallavi line itself (I forgot what it was) was beautiful. The pallavi included swarams in Shubhapantuvarali (I think), SahAna, KApi, and some other ragam.

I couldn't stay for the items after the RTP, but I was told that he played a beautiful Krishna Nee Begane in Yamuna Kalyani.

Overall, it was a good concert, with an excellent RTP.

-Abhishek.

we need lots of good music.
especially on flute! I've got to listen only to Shri K V Ramanujam in the 30-70 age group so far!
Madurai Sundar played the mridangam.
Is this the same Madurai Sundar who's disciple of Madurai Shri TNS and who sings too?
