The low turn out affected the performance of the brothers. Varadarajan did very well although he was also disappointed initially. The elder brother did a spirited alapana in raga"---" . Somebody help me. The team had a good time with some antics. The younger brother was competing with Raja Rao by heavy clapping by way of thala. Annoying for some to say the least. They sang "Sabapathikku" (Abpghi) very well. Except for one other krithi (main item), they mostly sang minor songs. A lack luster performance despite good support from Varadarajan, Raja Rao and Vasan.
They are great artists and I wish them the very best. They are my favorites too.
I need help from other members regarding the list of songs and their opinions. My aplogies for offedning anyone.
