AIR broadcast

Last year, Prasar Bharati and AIMA joined hands to celebrate Margazhi and had 10 concerts.
They also broadcast that everyday morning for an hour in AIR chennai. Is this there this year to.
Anyone has listened to it.

Yes, this year too the concerts are on in AIR. I have been listening to these concerts every day. TVS,E.Gayathri,TVG, R.Vedavalli etc have already featured in these recordings of live concerts.

I believe that the concerts were organized in AIR before an invited audience. Most of them were theme oriented.

Speaking of the recording quality ...it seemed to be OK.

Though I am not competent to comment on the music, my feeling is that they were very good. Especially Smt.Vedavalli's Todi, Sri.TVG's shanmugapriya etc, Sri.TVS seemed a bit mediocre.

That is as far as I could read between the lines....

If you read between lines, you will find that you are listening to it "again". which means you have recorded it.
And I am looking forward to soemone to post it in sangeethapriya.. Not sure this request might be erased.

I am pretty sure it is legal to upload AIR concerts

Alas, I have not recorded them. Since I would be travelling to my work place between 8.00 am and 9 am, I had purchased a portable Philips Radio( AM/FM) with which I listen/enjoy these concerts. This has a earphone jack, but recording whiile travelling seems to be a task and I have not tried this. Can probably try out now....!!

AIR broadcasts seemed a bit formal with the routine announcement for songs.
It was difficult to believe that the concerts wer held before live audience!
