Went though the above link posted by Lakshmiram, and Revathi has given an Excellent report on Smt.kalyani Ganesan's performance, it was indeed a classical feast.

Veena Being a toughest instrument to Handle, Smt Kalyani handled the same with great ease.

Concert was a total success with good support by Mr. Mali in Mridangam

Does any one know in which 'Bani or veena School' Mrs.kalyani is from?

Yes it was truly a good concert - She did play the tanam as per the traditional style before Akshaya Linga Vibho which was the main and this was followed by RTP in saveri.
She is a disciple of M. A Kalayanakrishna Baghavathar.

Really an excellent performance by the vidhushi, the concert was drenched in sruthi sudhdham throughout and her alapanas of saveri and shankarabarnam were traditional and aesthetic, The concert has been reviewed in todays Hindu as Melody through the strings.

According to me the artist has not been reognised duly by music organisations and rasikas
