For 3.40 hours a concert....
Nice set of raga and krithis.
If MLV had lived, she would have sung in MA in the senior slot in a morning session.

Yes, RK Sriram Kumar was absolutely in complement to Sudha's wonderful rendering. Tho I had planned to stay only for 2 hours, the magnetism of the music made me stay until the end. During the alaapana, the manirangu raaga was simply different and pleasing..The swaras just fell so picturesquely, like jasmine falling when you shake the tree...flowed with so much of ease..the Harikambodhi's a tricky one for swaras and neravals. Also the three raagas woven together was indeed like a tite rope walk.

But the musicians ease and flamboyance in handling needs to be truly commended. It extols the virtuosity of carnatic music, taking it in such wonderful packaging to the rasika.

It was an energetic concert with no room for reclining :)=). he gait and tempo and most of all the energy of the artist was truly reflecting on the audience. A very satisfying 3 plus hours.
