It was a brilliant concert. I wish there were more people who enjoyed the treat.

Vijayanagari, Yadhukula Kambhoji, Vasanta and the main raga, Dharmavati, were rendered brilliantly. I did wish it was a 3 hr. concert.

The percussion support, especially from the ghatam vidwan, could have been more sensitive.

We need to grow big time in terms of sound engineering. The volume was fluctuating between very loud to very very very loud throughout the concert. Ghatam's volume overpowered the rest (not the player's mistake), The thoppi side of the mridangam was hardly audible.

I think it is time to form a movement - PETRIM - People For the Ethical Treatment of Rasikas in Indian Music . One of the demands should be decent sound system in classical concerts.
