Fiddler - for a follower of someone who is supposedly creative and unpredictable, you could do better than compare him with Bolt in every post. Sanjay is not Bolt or Federer. Bolt and Federer are not just the greatest in their era but possibly the greatest ever. Sanjay is not the greatest carnatic musican ever. He is probably the best vocalist of the current lot. So, comparison to Tendulkar or Ponting might be more apt but still doesn't somehow feel right. I think he is the Kobe of modern CM. Great talent, no star accompanists, consistent performer and rabid fans :-)

sbala - Please don't bring unrelated characters like FedEx and Bolt. What Fiddler said should be interpreted as "lightning bolt". Please do not hijack the topic by stating that Sanjay is not the greatest ever etc etc. Nobody has made any such claims in this thread and we have been only talking about his concert, music and how we enjoy it.

Hang on! That was on a lighter note, though not strictly :-) . Please look at fiddler's previous posts made in this forum and then educate me on interpretations of Bolt. The thread was hijacked by the time I made my post. Anyways, I've not belittled your idol by comparing him with Kobe.

The same "The Hindu" has mentioned it here (see the link below, which seems more authentic to me) as Ponniah Pillai's composition.
