I have uploaded to youtube few videos from a Veena concert by Sujana Vadlamani at Cary, NC, USA. This was a chamber concert. She was accompanied on Mridangam by Master Arjun Raghavan (Disciple of Sri. TH Subhashachandran) and Sri. Partha Aji on morsing.

I have uploaded couple of more concerts to youtube. The main items are too long for upload !

By the way, just read the posts on illegal recordings and copy rights issues, legal notices etc.
The above recordings are from my wife and she has given me full permission (orally not written

) to upload the music on www and use them for spreading the music for free !!!

On YouTube it shows Sudheendra Rao and your post #1 above shows Arjun Raghavan.

Sarma, Sujana's music is excellent. Enjoyed listening to her Telisi Rama, Niravadi Sukhada and Raghuvamsa Sudha so far. Will get to her other pieces later. Her lively facial expressions and communication with the accompanists add to the ambiance.

Sri Raja Rao.
The uploads are from 3 concerts.
Sri Sudheendra Rao was on the mridangam in the concert at Cary, NC in 2006.
Master Arjun Raghavan was on the mridangam in the latest chamber concert again at Cary in Nov 2009.

Glad that you enjoyed the music. She is the grand-daughter of Gayakasarvabhouma Late Sri Parupalli Ramakrishnayya Pantulu garu, the guru of our great Dr. BMK ! She has a good lineage (tyagaraja sishya parampara) !! Her brother Parupalli Phalgun ia also an excellent mridangist and established well in Chennai circuit.

Late Sri Ramakrishnayya pantulu garu taught music for free and provided loadging and boarding for free for those who needed ! He even taught non-brahmins music, which in those days was difficult to imagine. In a way, he is also a social reformer. Sujana learnt from the disciple of her grandfather Late Sri. NCH Krishnamacharyulu garu, a renowned violinist and composer from Vijayawada. Sri. Krishnamachryulu garu refused to take fees from her saying, your grandfather taught us free and I am still indebted to him !! Great people !!
